Educational and research laboratories and workshops represent one of the core pillars of the academic process at Taiz University. They serve various faculties and disciplines, enhance applied learning, build students’ practical skills, and support scientific research and innovation.
Teaching Laboratories

Teaching laboratories include basic science laboratories, medical laboratories, engineering laboratories, information technology laboratories, and other facilities used for practical courses and experimental applications.
Research Laboratories

Research laboratories are utilized for conducting research projects and applied studies, providing an appropriate environment for faculty members, researchers, and postgraduate students.
Applied Workshops

Applied workshops support engineering, technical, and vocational programs, contribute to skill development, and bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application.
Support and Development Opportunities
The Directorate of Laboratories, Equipment & Investment seeks to develop and upgrade laboratories and workshops, modernize scientific equipment, build technical capacities, and invites donor institutions and partners to support these efforts in order to achieve a sustainable impact on the quality of education and scientific research at Taiz University.
